My name is Candace Colson. I am from the small town of Claremont NC. I am twenty years old. I am a christian. I am an only child and an only grandchild (to both sets of grandparents!) I am extremely close to my family! They are my strongest support system. My friends are amazing and I love spending time with them! I have a wonderful boyfriend who I have been dating for about 5 years. He is my high school sweetheart! He is on the track team at App and I am constantly traveling to his meets! I enjoy spending time outside, watching football, and traveling. I love working with kids of all ages! I work at Merry Land Academy which is a daycare in Boone. I am ready to graduate from ASU and start my career. I want to teach third grade and I can’t wait to have my own classroom one day!
I am from the crackling of bonfires on a cool autumn night. the smell of racing fuel under the speedway lights I am from Appalachian football on Saturday and Panthers football on Sunday.
I am from hushpuppies and slaw next to a nice days catch. the sound of homemade ice cream churning outside. I am from the greasy stain on a Claremont Cafe bag.
